In response to the national government's call, NGCP launched various initiatives to support relief and response efforts to combat COVID-19. This includes a PhP 1 Billion donation of grocery items to over 1,000 LGUs and medical equipment, from mechanical ventilators, portable X-Ray machines, to ambulances, donning and doffing areas, and isolation rooms, to over 300 hospitals and city/municipal/rural health units.

NGCP’s grocery packs, given to 1028 LGUs around the country, include rice, canned goods, biscuits, instant noodles, and powdered milk.
NGCP’s donations to hospitals and city/municipal/rural health centers include face masks, face shields, medical gloves, goggles, shoe covers, surgical caps, coveralls, and medical gowns. Apart from this, NGCP also provided medical institutions with vitamins, disinfecting solution, and alcohol.
Beyond personal protective equipment, hospitals also received non-contact thermometers, mechanical ventilators, ultrasound machines, x-ray machines, SteraMist systems, powered air purifying respirators, closed suction systems, and PCR machines.
